David Codr, creator and founder of micspace.com has been a prominent figure in the music industry for the last 20+ years. His production company Loaded Music Productions promoted and produced over 1,000 concerts from 25 to 25,000 people - working with artists like: 311, Jack Johnson, No Doubt, Sublime, Wilco, Ween, Widespead Panic, Soundgarden, Ziggy Marley, the Black Crows, Blues Traveler, Dave Matthews, Notorious BIG, Stone Temple Pilots and countless others.

In addition to concert production & promotion, David was the creator and Publisher of the Music Phone Book, has managed a number of bands, logged countless hours as a producer, and was the talent buyer for several premier live music venues on the West Coast including a number of colleges (USC, UCLA, UC Berkley & UC Santa Barbara). David returned to artist management in 2007 and is guiding the career of the regional touring act Congress of a Crow.

Although he now works in several disciplines, David is still considered a leading authority as one of the pioneers of "guerilla promotion" for independent artists and bands. Most of the promotional techniques he developed are still widely used by industry insiders from coast to coast, evidenced by his frequent appearances as a speaker or panelist at numerous music conferences like Dfest.

David will sit in on a few panels at Dfest and conduct a new version of his Guerilla Promotion workshop, Cocktails with the Consultants on Thursday July 24 at the Crown Plaza. David will be joined for the Cocktails with the Consultants workshop by 25 year music industry pro Larry White. The Thursday workshop is free to attend and open to the public (No badge required).
