Born on Long Island, NY Daryl was saved from hair-metal, bad classic rock and Billy Joel, by The Replacememts, REM, The Clash and Elvis Costello. He attended the University at Albany, where through college radio and microbrew, he further developed his discerning musical I palate. After graduating Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City, he became the minority founder and VP, Strategic Development of The Orchard, a digital and physical music distribution company. From there, he was moved out to Los Angeles by EMI Recorded Music where he was Director, Business Development, New Media. After becoming the victim of one of many corporate contractions, along with a business partner he formed Crusty Old Timer, Inc. handling music supervision and music placement. At Crusty, he helped launch Fuel TV, a Fox Entertainment-owned 24 hour action sports television network. After the consulting arrangement ended, he was hired on full time where he has been for the past five years doing everything from music marketing, music supervision, licensing, band booking and anything else music related the network needs accomplished. In his spare time, he belies his NYC downtown roots by obsessively playing bad golf, hiking and spending way too much money in restaurants.
