Movies and television shows are where you may have first heard AM's music. All 10 songs from his debut album "Troubled Times" were featured in film and TV including HBO's "Big Love", ABC's "Men In Trees", and MTV's "The Hills". Receiving constant support from tastemaker radio station KCRW, AM soon began making a name for himself in his newly adopted home of Los Angeles. He received the "Best Singer/Songwriter of the Year" award from the LA Weekly and "Troubled Times" was soon voted one of iTunes "Top 20 Best Indie Albums". 2008 has seen AM showcasing his sophomore album "Soul Variations" which fuses melodic, indie pop and folk-rock to create a rich and varied sound. Touring constantly both in the US and Europe AM is expanding his fan base to all parts of the globe. "Soul Variations" will be released in Europe in the fall of 2008. AM has also recently produced a new duets EP's entitled "Side by Side" which features up and coming singer/songwriters such as Meiko and Tina Dico (Zero 7) and will be the first in a 6 part series. The Tulsa born, New Orleans raised, current Echo Park resident also recently co-scored his first film entitled "Man Maid" along with fellow composer Tom Hiel (Swimming With Sharks/ The Practice).
