Oklahoma's Largest Music Festival and Conference
Dfest is the Midwest's largest music festival and most comprehensive music conference in the Midwest. National acts The All-American Rejects, The Roots, The Disco Biscuits, Clutch, Paramore, Zappa Plays Zappa, Ghostland Observatory, moe., Helmet, Phantom Planet, Edison Glass, Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey, AM, Ty England, Ravi, The Apples In Stereo, Joshua James, and Cory Chisel will play to large audiences in Tulsa's Blue Dome District. In addition to national acts, Dfest will feature 130 unsigned artists selected from applicants for these slots that exceeded 1,000 musical acts.

Dfest will also include a tradeshow and conference comprised of music industry panels and music clinics that educate working musicians and music enthusiasts at every level. Invisible Records owner Martin Atkins, Columbia College professor and author of "Tour: Smart," will be the conference's keynote speaker. "n thIese times of shrinking opportunities and expanding gas prices, it's never been more important to pay attention to the basics," Atkins said. "Dfest provides the perfect platform for bands, musicians and industry professionals to link with one another and gain from relationships and shared knowledge.  Dfest and Tour:Smart are a really intelligent choice for any band crazy enough to head out on the road."

What: The most comprehensive music conference and festival in the Midwest will feature 150 artists and 20 plus musical genres on 12 stages in downtown Tulsa's historic Blue Dome District.
Headliners include: Paramore, Ghostland Observatory, Zappa Plays Zappa, Helmet, The Disco Biscuits and Edison Glass and more than 120 unsigned artists.

The two-day festival will also include a conference comprised of music industry panels, a tradeshow, music clinics and mentoring sessions designed to educate working musicians and music enthusiasts in any stage of their career. The conference will take place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel downtown, just walking distance from the Blue Dome District.

Who: More than 60,000 attendees are expected.

Tickets: Tickets on sale April 24.

Festival tickets: $30 plus 3.50 service charge in advance and $40 plus $5 service fee walk-up. Good for both days of the festival.
